Our nation’s history has been defined by milestone events from its birth on July 4, 1776 to the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001. The Winnebago County 9/11 Emergency Responders Memorial, with a target completion date of September 11, 2016, is designed as a monument to honor the citizens and emergency responders who died that tragic day. It also pays homage to the lives of all those emergency responders in our own community who, in answering the call of service, have made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Winnebago County 911 Memorial is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
